Try this...

Mom made me practice both my violin and my piano for one hour each, then we went out to dinner, then we went to my Scouts meeting, and then, after taking my shower and stuff, it was bedtime. Since I have a heart condition, I can't stay up late... doctor's orders. See, here's a copy of the doctor's letter they have in my cume folder in the front office. You did see my cume folder at the start of the year, right?

So can I have another day to turn it in?

My mam and dad had another row, and my dad kicked off big time and went on a rampage tthrough the house, he wrecked every room including my bedroom where my homework got destroyed.

I had a very sympathetic teacher who fell for this for 4 weeks running!

I played the parental argument card for all it was worth, but then I hated school, and when I discovered a way of getting out of doing school work, I jumped on it with both hands!

I went to school back in the days when teachers still had authority and could punish the kids. It forced me to be creative.

Nowadays the kids just tell the teachers to go fuc|< themselves and there is nothing the teacher can do!

The first week I said "The dog ate it" and got detention, the next week I came out with "My Mum ate it" The teacher had had experience of my Mum and hewr attitude so he fell around laughing and I got away with it!

Oh yeah, my hamster really did eat it once! I had left it too close to the cage so I just handed it in with one corner all nibbled.

Hm, I remember when my parents broke up I didn't do homework for a while. Most of the other times I was just being my normal clueless self and forgot.

Can't you just sit down and do it, I promise it is not as horrid as the thought of it. Get organised and get a routine, like after Neighbours get your work out and try to enjoy it. I promise you, life is easier my way.

Mine was that the encyclopedia set that we had was anitique and therefore the data in them was incomplete or out of date. It worked when I bought in one of the volumes to the history teacher!
