Hi zionist trash! Don't u remember that in 1973 Egypt taught the p*gs a harsh lesson to the extent that their slut*y prime minister thought about using the nukes? Don't u remember that if the US hadn't rescued the p*gs, the Egyptians were almost gonna conquer Tel Aviv?! Go back to school, ziony, but stay awake this time!
Another example: Don't u remember that in the year 2000 the pig*y troops were forced by Hezbullah to run out of southern Lebanon at night like mice because their a$$es couldn't tolerate more painful kicks and greater death tolls?! Has ur media never told u this?!

Well, to all of you, I will give the answer below because none so far had the courage to give it: The reason is that the Israelis' will and morale are too low in man-to-man battles because they know they are occupiers and are not fighting for a just cause, while the members of Hizbullah are so courageous and stout because they know they are fighting to restore their own land and prisoners and are thus fighting for a just cause that deserves respect. I have realized in the last days that many American Yahoo! users have started to realize this fact for the first time. This is good news. I am happy these users could find on the internet some media for obtaining truthful and unbiased data about the middle east, away from the traditional American media which had always been defending Israel and obscuring the fact that it is occupying other people's land and committing war crimes against them everyday.

2-Hezbullah guys know they are fighting for a just reason: Taking their land and prisoners back
3-Most of the Israeli soldiers are like mercenarie imported from European and African ghettoes

I think it is because a guerilla network can be more "invisible" than an army, as the US experience in Iraq has also shown.
Army generals will always believe that with their superior weaponry they can just invade a country and win. But if they are fighting armed resistance fighters in, as you say "pedestrian combat", they are usually at a disadvantage.
Guerilla fighters in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and now Lebanon have shown that you don't have to have superior fire-power - you just need to be wily and cunning and dedicated.
That said, the whole situation stinks!
