She's your ex, right? Remember that. She has the right to date anyone she likes, including your brother. I would never do it, but if she's comfortable with it, she's going to do it.

Your brother also has every right to date her.

She is an EX wife for a reason... wheatever reason that is, your marriage is now dissolved. This is something that you will have to accept and move on.

You cannot control other folk's choices, regardless of how they make you feel. You can only control your own thoughts and actions. Keep this in mind. You are the captain of your soul and thus your actions are your own.

Acceptance is not easy. Read, take time for yourself, to sit with yourself and your feelings. Give yourself the opportunity for grief. You had to let go of a valuable relationship and too often friends and family don't give you the opprtunity to mourn your loss. Do so; be your own best friend. Find a safe place; rant, rave, cry, fuss and then let go. This helps you accept the situation. Find a local divorce group or see a counselor...

If you want to go the self-help route; read up on it. My favorites are The Anger Habit, If the Buddha got Stuck, Creative Visualization anything on co-dependency and most anything by Cheri Huber.

You are in a difficult place and I can only imagine how you feel - I wish youand yours peace.

Banish your brother.

Keeping your sanity means never seeing him again.

You have 4 kids, they will remember this when they're adults.

Your mother can't even imagine what you are going through.

Your mother has no authority to tell you not to hurt him but to play it safe simply forget you have a brother.

This will all be over soon.

It's a nasty dance but they are the only ones dancing, not you.

Give them the children or keep the children depending on your sanity's needs.

That is very messed up.

You need a break and it means forgetting that both of them ever existed.

That's really great - it looks like she found a very innovative way to torture you and screw up the rest of your family. I'd give her my vote for "Queen Manipulative ***** of the Universe".

I'm afraid I would have to stop talking to him if it were me - with all of the people in the world it simply isn't right for him to be with her.

You need to have a heart to heart talk with your brother. Ask him what happened and why. It will be weird for your kids. I don't know how old they are, but their uncle may become their step-dad. Don't blow your temper. Take it easy.
