my mum always told me that the quality of friends is better than the quanity. i have always belived that was true. i have a gift of giving true advice to my friends and i like giving advice just as long as it helps people, sometimes it doesn't work sometimes it does. should i stick to my day job or carry on helping friends in need.

DO what ur heart says....do wat u like.....well according to me u must stick to ur day to day job and u can do that in the spare time only if ur friends are good and reliable.....but my opinion or any other person's opinion doesn't matter. Do what u want to do......u can also do both the works.Like do ur job when it's a workin day and do this stuff on holidays....All the best

Well, of course, you should always help a friend in need. Just be careful that you are not giving advice where advice is not being asked for. Sometimes being a true friend just takes having a good shoulder to cry on. You don't always have to have an advice or a thought to share. Listening is just as good also.

Keep being a good friend!

Giving advice is a very male trait. We like to be seen as the problem solver, especially when it's helping out a maiden in distress, who will be very grateful... mmm... sorry, I got lost in a private fantasy for a moment...

Well, helping friends wont pay the bills, when they come due.

Not everyone will "pay" for advice, because EVERONE has an opinion...including yours truley :) LOL!!

I would stick to my day job,and help those in need, when you get the chance to...

I wish you well..

That really depends on what your "day-job" is

where does your mum's words come into this?

If I'm in need of someone with a dayjob and you've given yours

up, can you still help me?

lost of people need help! it feels good to give advice because you are escaping your own problems (true for me anyway!) my philosophy is if it feels good do it, so carry on solving your mates problems

how about getting a day job that will allow you to help others???? Social worker comes to mind... Then you will be a 'professional helper' with lots of resources at hand

I always say, a friend won't bail you out of jail, a true friend will be in jail with you, saying, "she didn't look like no cop".....
