I'm not sure what you mean by world war 3 starting if you bought the wrong anything, if you mean that your twins want socks with logos on them then why can't they wear those at home and wear black socks at school like everyone else. Your'e the boss so you should start world war 4 if they decide to get stroppy about it! I hope this makes sense - as I say I m not entirely sure what you meant!

i think strict rules like this at school are a complete waste of time , but for your children's sake I'd stick to the dress code, I've 2 kids at school and it's fairly relaxed there . But to be drawing the school Principal or any other teachers to your child's attention for the (wrong) reason isn't a great idea. Maybe your children might grow up thinking it's a good idea to challenge what ever rules are placed in front of them cause they remember there Mom or Dad doing it . As i said i don't agree with real strict school policies as Kids are Kids and will always try and do the utmost to break them, Good Luck

Let them have different socks! My husband is an identical twin and that is how his father told him and his brother apart! As a teacher I am sure the school would understand! Any problems just explain the situation to the school, I can't imagine it will be a problem!

I understand your dilemma. Why don't you try sewing or sticking their favourite cartoon character to the INSIDE of the socks? That way, you and they will know which are which, but the (stupid) school rules have not been broken.

Conformity to standards, can't conform, you don't fit in. Or so they say... but you know the truth... same socks at home will be easier for kids. School can be overtly cruel.

Let them wear what you think is right. If the school raises a problem, try to explain your view to the headmaster. Good luck.
