I was in dubai at christmas and they didnt ask for any cert regarding smallpox. I have never heard of you having to have one either. if you go to the website for emirates airlines you can get all the information you need regarding entry requirements for the country. Have a good time while you are there it is a great place to visit. I would love to go back for a longer visit. The people i met were very friendly

You need to check with health services in your country. Only thing I know from experience is that Dubai is a very clean place, comparable to Singapore. I'm not from Singapore but visited UAE some years ago for holidays without taking additional vaccination.

There are samples of the virus saved in the u . s . a . and Russia in nicely controlled laboratories. even nonetheless, that's continuously available that some rogue u . s . or team has get entry to to smallpox virus and ought to in all probability use it in a organic and organic attack. We subsequently would desire to maintain a inventory of vaccine against it and to be certain that troops being deployed into circumstances the place organic and organic weapons must be used are literally secure.

NO. There is now no country in the world requiring proof of smallpox vaccination for entry. Smallpox was declared eradicated world-wide in the early 1970s and vaccination stopped shortly afterwards.

The only vaccination for which there is now an internationally recognised certificate is for Yellow Fever. This vaccination is only required when travelling from countries where YF is widespread.
