hi amanda, good question.I don't think it's a reflection of their own insecurities, probably the opposite. I think most insecure people wouldn't say boo to a goose. These people who you ask about probably feel secure enough to say awful things to people and not care about the consequences, I wouldn't say they're secure...just pig ignorant.

Do you KNOW who you're talking to young lady???

(Just kidding).

That's a facade those people have to make up for their own feelings of inadequacy... and insecurities. The ones that really get me going are the ones who do have a level of power and exploit the living daylights out of it. Fortunately, in keeping with the "what goes around, come around" philosophy they eventually get a dose of their own medicine by someone else.

Yes, who would say that messin up with other peoples lives is an achievement?! Praise to the High above that you did not became one of them because you might just be your parent's BIG frustration. Usually they want to feel important, and deep down they may not feel that way. Putting others down, and getting their egos massaged by others, makes it seem like they're better than the ones they're attacking, and the toadies want their favor, so they must be inferior to him, too. Then they start believing their own press, and the idea that they're better becomes "fact" to them.

It's usually excessive pride, that leads people to view others as lesser beings. They are also being disrespectful...could be that they are somewhat insecure.

Yes it is.
Low self esteem. Having a huge ego gives them a false sense of confidence.

I know I have been there.

the mind...what a terrible thing to waste. You can only feel as low as you want to. You know who you are...what you are...and what's better you know what they are. So by answering your Question we will only be joining those people. Think about it.

I don't think someone could make you feel that way unless you felt less than to begin with.
