The weight will remain the same just the point basically where it is balanced will change. If you stand up you weigh exactly the same as when you lay down, just your point of balance or center of gravity has moved.

think of what you are saying...
will the mass of the object change? no
will the acc of gravity change? no
thus, it's force will remain constant,
the only difference is where the center of gravity will be

ur weight will always be the same... it's ur mass tht wud change.. tht's why ur mass diff when u r on earth compare to moon or any other planet...
the smaller the gravity, the smaller the mass become... which is why u wud feel lighter once u move from earth to moon

The weight will be the same, it will just be dispersed differently. you will weigh the same lying down as you do standing up, it's just that your weight is spread out over a larger area.

maybe you have asked the wrong question... the same weight in a smaller area can cause more damage than if it was spread over a larger area.
