first do not pick ur pimples this could worsen the situation irritating the skin and leaving deep scars. ensure u cleanse ur face with a facial cleanser that contains salicyclic acid or any other acne ingredient daily . moisturize ur face with creams that do not contain oil and that is written non-comediogenic(that is does not clog the pores) also ensure u wear a sunblock cream that contains at least spf 15 after moisturizing ur face. do not overwash ur face as this could also irritate ur skin. washing twice a day is sufficient. i'll advise that u do not out of desperation to have a smooth face start jumping from one product to another. try st. ives products for oily and acne prone skin it will help alot. u could log on to their site www.stives.com to get their products for oily and acne prone skin. u'll also get an online dermatologist to advise u on www.stives.com good luck baby

Lauren, All products costly or low priced particularly lots do a similar element on your skin. the actual incontrovertible fact that your skin is oily is a nutrients subject. Alum will draw extra oiliness, do not use alcohol of any sort and that contains maximum toners. in simple terms shop the face fairly sparkling with a gel cleansing soap bar and quit ingesting oily ingredients and do drink your desired 8-10 glasses of water on a regular basis. Use a mask a minimum of as quickly as a week to deep sparkling the floor.

Try using oil-free products.
Some brands are Neutrogena, Clearasil, Nivea, Johnsons)
The products most important are;
Facial wash (soap-free.)
Use everyday. Cut out creamy cleansers.
Oil-free moisturizer. Use day and night. Don't use rich cream even at night, it will give more spots.
For spots, find an antiseptic, oil-free coverstick. (ex Clearasil)(Avoid regular concealers cause they're too rich)

If you use make-up, switch to products for oily skin; (matifying) applying a neutral powder with a big brush keeps your skin less shiny.

Once a week or so, use a cleansing mask. mud or other for oily skin.
If you have time for it; boil water and damp your face 10 min first.
Then apply mask. (test that you're not allergic first, by applying a small amount on your skin)
Rinse off with water.
Apply moisturizer.

If this doesn't help after 4-6 weeks, contact a skin specialist.

Lauren, All products luxurious or low-cost regularly do the equal factor in your dermis. The truth that your skin is oily is a vitamin quandary. Alum will draw excess oiliness, don't use alcohol of any variety and that includes most toners. Just keep the face tremendously smooth with a gel cleaning soap bar and discontinue eating oily meals and do drink your required eight-10 glasses of water every day. Use a mask at the least once per week to deep clean the dermis.

This worked for me, but it MAY not work for you....at least try it. I have an aloe plant and every morning and night (before I go to sleep) I rub the gel over my face. Do research on Google for aloe plant and the benefits it has on your skin. It's AMAZING. It has kept mine from being too oily and my complexion is better. I've read that it can even help reduce acne scars (after about six months of use). Good luck

Hun, in other words you want perfect skin huh? Well not possible. You can try and wash it when you feel really oily.I used bye bye blemish drying lotion when i had this problem with the face cleanser. But if you are young, you'll have to wait till the phase passes.
You can go for laser treatments and dermabrasion they can make it possible.... you need lots of money though.

normal soap dries out your skin, which is good if your skin is oily...do it every morning with warm water and then rinse with cold, give it a couple of weeks and ... all gone!
