I am moving in January, and I want my room looking great. My room color is going to be a light green. I have a loft bed from rooms-to-go. (similar to a bunk bed but it has a desk underneath) that has a wooden desk, and is silver and black. then I have a wooden frame futon(it looks like a normal bed...it just can be folded) then a tall dresser, normal dresser, and a book shelf. What are some ways I can arrange these, and what are some things I can decorate with? I want to save as much money as possible.

No offense to you or anyone else, but decorating is as personal, as the type of hygene you practice. No answers here will be right,,,or wrong. We all have personal preferences.

I suggest this; What if anything are the "COOL" things you already have, or enjoy? It is YOUR room after all. It can be mild, wild, static, or animated, it truly is up to you in what you have, like, can afford, etc.

Not knowing the size of the room or its furnishings, I suggest it's a place where you may spend a majority of your time? If I were in that situation, I might want space enough aside from bed, dressers, etc, where I might have my entertainment issues in a place that was easily accessible. I might want space in a corner for my comp, or desk? I might want all my clothing within reach of my bed, so I wouldn't strictly have to get up to dress,,,LOL,,,teasing.

In any case, my point is, craft the room as it makes you feel most comfortable, or invited into. The good news is that along with the freedom to do as you wish, you also have the freedom to make changes.
