You Ipod Nano will give you roughly 1000 songs. I have a regular 60 GB IPOd because I purchase a lot of music of the course of the year.

If you want to be active with your ipod, IE Jogging or walking the regular IPOD may be a bit bulky. As far as price is considered, you may just want to go with the Nano, but remember that your music collection will not stay the same size. It generally grow at a rapid rate.

A used CD here, some downloading there, and you will double your music collection in no time.

The IPOD and Itunes is one of the best marriges on the planet. The minute you download your first song, you will be hooked.

So just keep that in mind.

I personally don't have any room left to hold a IPOD Nano. Nice device but it would be a waste of my time.

Hope this helps

Definitely iPod Nano. I thought long and hard about it too when I wanted to buy one, but finally went with iPod Nano Black 2 GB. 2GB stores about 500 songs, give or take, and it's slim, compact and is an awesome accessory. So 4GB stores about 1000 songs, again, give or take. If you're worried about the scratches, take care of it but buying an iPod Nano skin, and DON'T take it off!! I've got mine for 4 months now (No scratches. Yet. None at all!!) and I'm happy with it. If you don't need too much memory, I reckon 2GB is fine for the price, but if you're wanting more memory, it's safe to say that iPod video is better value for your money. Remember that 500 songs isn't much and you'd have to constantly update it. As for black or white, I'm sick of the white ones. Granted, they look really cool but too many people has white, so I went with black. Good luck iPod shopping.

p/s - Do get a decent pair of headphones to go with the iPod to get the maximum sound experience. The bass on the normal headphones that comes with it is usually terrible.

I've got an ipod 4th gen, 20Gb and that's about 5000 songs... and yes it's almost full but then I'm a massive music lover. If you don't want too much memory, the Nano's cool and 4Gb will give you storage for about 1000 songs, that's probably 2 or 3 days of music straight, not too bad!
As to white or black, it's a very personal choice. I like white my partner has black...

I think u should get the ipod nano and make it black. It's awesome!!!!!!!! 4GB holds about 1000 songs. It's worth buying it. For more info go to http://www.apple.com/ipod/ U should get the 2GB if you don't want to spend more than 200 get the 2GB. It holds about 500 songs. And to take care of your ipod, I recomend u get an ipod nano cover to protect your ipod from scratches, etc. They cost about $15. U can get them at a radio shack store near u. Hope that helps.

you should get the ipod nano black version 4gb for under £200 from argos, very easy to use, or you could get the 2gb one for under £140 also easy to use. 4 gb can store upto 1000 mp3 songs or double if it is wma.
