When I was pregnant with my fourth child, all of a sudden...and I mean all of a sudden...I started cleaning my bedroom. Not just cleaning, but washing walls and everything. I was over 8 months pregnant. His crib was already set up there. I had no idea WHY I was doing it, especially when I was so big, but I HAD to do it.

"Nesting" is the subconscious preparations of your home for baby. It usually happens late in pregnancy. You find yourself with the desire to clean, sort, organize and stock up on food.

When you finally realize that there's a baby coming.. and you start cooking and cleaning all the time.. It means that you've changed from just being a normal woman to a mother,

When a woman is pregnant, she wants to make sure the home is comfortable for baby to come home to. So you'll go nuts getting everything just so. You'll drive your husband crazy, I know I did.

The day I gave birth, I cleaned out my coffeemaker with a Q-tip.

I was dead set on getting that sucker clean. I should have saved my energy, because I was in labor for hours and hours after that.
