I dont think its true love. More of a crush. A fantasy. Unless you have personal interaction, there is no way of knowing.

I could say one can fall in love with someone s/he has never seen, even if s/he saw some pictures of the other person, but the risk of being dissapointed is very big. I have met a few men on the Internet, one of them is my ex-boyfriend. We haven't got the chance to become friends first and we let sexual attraction to take over, and now we broke up because we weren't right for each other.

Yes we can. But before that lets understand what is love - a feeling that makes you feel good and wanted. it is a state of the mind. It does not matter if you get that feeling from a person in front of you or a person who is known to you through the internet. If the emotions can be evoked, love happens.

Yes.
love happens not just in the heart, but in the mind as well.love can and does transcend all things, including space, the unknown.and the untested.
spirits, hearts and lives can connect on any level, even the Internet.
some connections were never meant to be, some last a life time.
it would depend on the individuals involved and the level of connection.
i hope this helps.

no. why? because before one can call it "love", the two people must KNOW each other and they should be able to trust each other. how could you trust someone youve never met personally? how could you assure that everything that person is saying is true? sure, you could fall for the person but i dont call that love. love requires so much more than just chatting. it very seldom works out too. =D

we sure can. but careful, because sexual attraction is an important component of a relationship (otherwise it's just a friendship) so we can't be sure that that love will continue existing after we've seen that person...It's no one's fault, it's just that when we haven't yet seen somenone face-to-face we tend to project on him/her a mental image we have of them which may or may not be real...

Your possibly lonely. And yearn for human interaction. You're
getting a need met, thereby feel a kinship with this person. Your
overwhelming desires are being fed,so you bond with this person
& assign love to it.
