Not as painful as epilating, but I've found it to be really ineffective. By the time you've done the same patch 5 times, it will hurt so I'd go for a professional wax (if you can afford it) or their hair removal cream (which does not hurt and works brilliantly).

All waxing hurts because you can control the speed and most people who do it themselves aren't brave enough. Try a salon or beauty shop and they'll do it for you and this will be less painful.

When ever you use wax to yank out hair follicles, it will hurt. It all depends on your tolerance for pain.

Yes and it doesn't work!!! Get it done professionally, it's quicker and gets better results.
