tell your friends to F off. I have a tatoo, but not because it means to be cool, but because it means something to me. And if someone doesn't like then they can look in a differen direction. Good luck.

A nice tatoo can look very sexy on a lady. Kind of adventurous, without being cheap. It does depend on the tatoo though. I used to know a couple of women with the home done ones. They look awful.

Well, it depends if you want to be seen as a 'lady' or not. I have a tatoo on my wrist, but it can be covered by my watch, so it is noticable, but only if I want it to be.

The fact is, if someone wants to judge me and say I am probably not a lady coz I have a tatoo, that is their opinion. And, I don't necessarily want to be seen as a lady, cause that means I need to behave like a stuck-up b**ch ALL the time, and I am sorry, but that is just not me! And it doesn't sound like you either!

The initial perception is: scratter.....
I'm sure you are lovely.
I don't know why women get tattooed in the Western world. It's can't be to be different as too many women have them.
I think they look awful. You see a lovely woman dressed up to the nines and then you see a tattoo. Wrecks it for me.
Old ladies with tattoos look so funny....

I personally don't like them. However, it would be a very boring old world if everyone liked the same things and acted alike. It is up to each individual how they dress, or whether they have tattoos etc. Each person should do what feels right for them and not worry about what other people think.

I guess I wouldn't be the right person to answer this question I'm a tattoo artist and have 14 myself. It's just personal preference on the opposite sex's likes and dislikes, some guys like blonde's, some like short girls, tattoos would just fall into one of those categories. Hope that helps.

I don't know really, I wouldn't want to have a tattoo bcause then you are stuck with the one image aren't you? You can't suddenly think "you know what, I'm going to bake cakes for little Jimmy's school fair and win perfect mother award" because that just isn't the picture people see. I suppose I agree with your friend, it' snot a lady-like thing! Sorry!

I think it all depends where they are, on the shoulder blade, ankle, hip etc are fine, especially if they are delicate looking, nothing too big and trashy. On the other hand I HATE seeing a woman with tatoos on her arms, that is hideous, especially if she has bingo wings!

Personally, I have 1 and my mother, her best friend, and my father each have 2, which they got in their 50's. I waited until I was in my mid-30's and put a great deal of thought into my design. I think one should not judge the person by the packaging.
