to feel it and describe what they perceived. One said it looks like a wall. It is smooth wall. Another said it has huge pillars so itmust be a room. And another said .. whatever.. I forgot. Now what is the moral of the story?

there were five blind men and they were each asked to feel it and describe it- one man touched the elephant and said its a wall..the other said its a broom...the other said its a tree one said its a fan and the last one said its a pillar..the moral is tht there are many ways to look at things- many ways to solve a problem....this story actually represent all the perspectives of psychology- the biological, cognitive, learning, psychodynamic and sociocultural perspectives- that is there are many ways of dealing with one psychological problems

1. Vision helps to see the things in their whole and true perspective. 2. Don't come to conculsions based on partial observations. 3. In depth knowledge is essential about any fact, then only you can visualise correctly. 4. Even collective opinions need not be correct, when not based on facts.
Hence start seeing things based on fullest facts. Otherwise it may deceive.

Point of view is diferent for everyone.
If you look too much into pieces, you will never know the whole picture.
Blind men do not perceive like a normal man.

it says we must look at things from other people perspective too.


sometimes things happen when you least expect them to. the more i try to run away, its like the horizon, growing bigger and bigger, looming ahead of me. i'll see where it takes me to.
