fish are territorial,so when they get into anothers space they tend to squabble. try re-arranging the items in your tank, the fish think they are somewhere new and cease to fight.

ballerina_kim is right. The sucking loach is a Chinese Algae eater - once they get over a couple inches they get very aggressive and can start attacking other fish. That sucking mouth is full of little sharp teeth meant to scrape algae from rocks and they can seriously injure other fish. Gouramis of any kind can be aggressive as well and kissing gouramis can get very large - adults need at least a 75 gallon tank.

actually both fishes can hurt eachother.

what u have is a golden CAE or chinese aglae eatter. they will grow about 12 inches and when adults are horrible fishes to own. They are very aggressive and latch onto other fishes like leaches and leave oopen wounds which an get infrected.

kissing gouramies will get about 7-12 inches as well and are powerful fish.

the algae eater has a mouth like that because he is an algae eatter.

kissing gouramies have their mouths b/c they lock jaws like a cichlid would when they fight. usually only males will do this kissing behavour

They're both male probably, and teritorial. You should consider bringing them pairs.
