To what extent do they control the activities of humans on the surface? Do their own cities occationally have conflicts and how do these conflicts play themselves out?

They control only the activities of those people who post questions like "Yay Wiener!!!!?" or "Are you gay?!?" or "What omglol vagina.?". They are too busy talking about the human reproductive system to conflict on anything else other than the reproductive system. The conflicts usually end in them "jousting" with their lizard organs. Enough said.

They mostly mind their own business and do not bother people on the surface. They only come up far enough to eat people who have been buried in graveyards.
