BaSO4 is practically insoluble in water (Ksp extremely low).
Just add water
NH4Cl will dissolve while BaSO4 will not and then filter

Barium sulphate is almost insoluble in water and ammonium chloride is highly soluble in water. Add water to the mixture and stir well. Filter the solution and collect barium sulphate from the filter paper. Ammonium chloride can be obtained from the solution by evaporation ,.

NH4Cl is sublimable apart from being highly water soluble. So just by heating the mixture very pure NH4Cl will sublime out. If you want pure BaSO4 then just add water and remove residual NH4Cl from it.
