We might go back to the Latin name for it, in line
with the Latin names for the other planets. Terra
means earth, all right, but in the sense of soil or
dirt, not as the planet's name. The Latin name for
it was Tellus, which is the source of the name of
the rare earth element tellurium. If you happened
to meet an alien who by some means had learned
Latin and said "I'm from Terra", you would be
saying "I'm from dirt."

The Earth is Round... Idiot. And Planet Earth seems like the perfect name for our planet. Although with the way the earth is going, and all the wars and stuff that is happening on this planet, we should probably call it Planet Propandga
