In reply to the person about my child dying... lovely thought, get your facts right please!

I have a son and all that happens is that when the child is born, or if you beed during pregnancy you have to have an injjection to stop your body rejecting a positive blood group baby.

Once born you need an injection if your baby's blood group is positive. My son was same blood group as me so no further action taken.

I'm O positive and my wife is A negative and pregnant, so she's having the injections to prevent her body rejecting a future baby.

I am also A resus negative. Not common, but the rarest is AB resus negative, then of course AB positive. O negative is the most useful as it can be transfused to any blood group - so go give blood.
