According to JK R., one of them will be killed off in the next movie. She didn't really hint on who. She just knows it will the last movie and she does not want anyone else to ruin the franchise with the same characters. I'm hoping hermione and ron will get together. They would make a good couple.
p.s. I'm a big HP fan, not huge obsesive going to buy cicle glasses and paint a bolt on my forehead fan.

Hehe, I have a Harry Potter OBSESSION!
I don't like Ron and Hermione... not at all... they don't suit each other well... They argue FAR too much!
I like Harry and Hermione best!
Far is too immature for Hermione... and I don't like the "opposites attract" excuse... Ron and Hermione fight too much for that to even be a possibility... they aren't "attracting" *shrug*
And there's symbolic proof for Harry and Hermione...
Like when they road the Hippogriff (Buckbeak) together, in Prisoner of Azkaban... and a Hippogriff is the sign of love in Greek Mythology... And in Order of the Pheonix, when Hermione hugged Harry and Pigwidgeon (Ron's owl) flew around their heads... that's the sign of a couple destined to be together.

And I think they're very compatible... And Hermione is the only girl that REALLY understands Harry, and has ALWAYS been willing to help him out, NO MATTER WHAT...
And she was the only one who believed him when he said that he didn't put his name into the Goblet of Fire...
Even RON didn't believe him, and Ron is his best friend!

I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! I DONT KNOW ABOUT RON AND HERMIONE. I THINK HE'S TOO SHY TO SAY ANYTHING TO HER. HAVE YOU READ ALL THE BOOKS? WHAT ABOUT HARRY AND HERMIONE?

To the other one who said that one will die it's Dumbledore, you should read the half blood prince. Ron and Hermonie are just friends. Ron feels something for Hermonie but she doesn't and that's why they fight all the time.
