nope.... see I don't have a right to expect to be acknowledged by any other human being...
If I choose to acknowledge them and they do not respond first I check that they are:
not deaf
not wearing headphones
able to speak the same language as I.
if the person is not deaf, or in any other way affected to prevent or hinder them hearing me, and they do not acknowledge my greeting I shrug my shoulder and move right along.

Not really. I don't always "see" everyone in the morning. My mind might be some place else (which it very often is!), so I might miss someone and not say Hi. So I try not to let it bug me if someone doesn't greet me the first time they see me in the morning. I'm sure we'll exchange greetings the next time we see each other. If figure that you've gotta have thicker skin than that. :)

I would wonder why I didn't take the iniative to greet them? Maybe they are having a bad day, or they aren't morning people and just haven't woke up enough to pay attention. Whatever the reason, if I did take it personally, I would just ask them about it before I felt all offended and out of shape.

I'm not offended. Some people just aren't morning people. Don't hold it against them. Don't let that stop you from greeting others with a smile or a kind word. There are many that will appreciate it!

i m not offended. The reason is simple, all people are not worth your greeting...
That is why whomsoever does not reply i just avoid that person for the time bieng, but never leave the good work of greeting everybody...
Why dont you also try the same, just dont be bothered with such type of people who do not respond back to you...

No- sometimes i think people just say hi or good morning etc because they are suppsed to- not that they really care- frankly i like it when people are not phony and i get tired of having to be ungenuine and greet people when i just want to go about my life .

I am not offended.
I am usually the one not doing the greeting. I figure let them greet me. Otherwise, they probably don't want to talk to me, and if that's the case why should I want to bother them? (I don't mean this in a passive-agressive way like it might sound)

Maybe if it happens more than once - remember there are Aholes in this world and don't get offended by the odd one that ignores you. Its actually a compliment.

no because some times people don't see what they are looking at, they have things on their mind and don't relate to what is right in front of them.
you have to know you are being ignored, to be able to be offended by this.

To be offended would say that you think another person who breathes & craps just like you is better
