Calamine lotion or if you don't want to use traditional medicine, put some chamomile essential oil or lavender essential oil neat onto the bites as it is soothing

I wouldn't use an alternative medicine if I was u to treat the insect bites - I would use a Boots antihistamine cream or tablets if u're skin is quite sensitive.
If u want to prevent insect bites on the other hand - use an insect repellent such as 'Buzz off' - that's very good!

I find that if i nip the middle of the bite it stops hurting if you have scratched the life out of you and are sore try germoline or sudocream.
