A couple things...
Fame brings wealth in most cases and that is both a blessing and a curse...many lottery winners declare bankruptcy within 5 years of winning millions.
Fame also brings incredible pressures -- from studio or recording executives...from the press...from yourself as you go from being the hot celeb one day to "so yesterday" the next day...so you are pushed to raise the bar
Third...that world is warped...it takes incredible fortitude (like Tom Hanks or Derek Jeter for example) to get through all the attention and worship and pressure and backstabbing. Life is different in a fishbowl (even if that fishbowl has great cars, big homes and everything you wish at your beck and call)...people get a sense of being better than they really are as a person...your whims become your principles and the potential to spiral downward -- either due to drugs, alcohol, or self worship -- is very high.

When you become famous you can be hounded by the public and the press so much that you lose your privacy too. That is a great deal of stress and the stress is what they can't handle.

It means that they are just a bunch of spoiled brats who whine and complain but never think to give any of their money to people who are less fortunate than them.
