I am fully agreed with the views that poverty is man made, it only depict the principle of charles darwin, Stronger rules over weaker. there is a cycle. when human was evolved there was not any thing like poverty there, Like if we study ancient history we will find that in oldest civilization of world how was the culture like in mesopotamia, indus valley civilization etc. Every one was free but then also it started a new thing, like stronger man was having many women with him, he used to show his power on others and snatched things n females from them, the rule of power started from right there. But there comes the brain power into existance, like this weaker section thought that they will never be happy like that and brainy peoples made some meetings and thus marriage things came into existance.
and Like this society was divided into many parts, one who used their brains became scientists, politicians and thinkers, whowere having physical power, those became cops, or went into forces.
But everytime Brains win the physical power, and it isa continuing till now. and whenever any one have brain power and use it nice, he becomes powerful. and it is hard truth that desires comes with power. Rich want to become more Rich and Powerful want to become more powerful and in this process poor becomes more poor and Poverty is there, though its psuedo things, if there is proper division of money every one on this earth is millionaire.

This is probably the biggest evil with devastating effects, but is also the most difficult question to answer. Its all survival of the fittest and that means someone in the most basic terms will always be at the bottom of the heap. Add to that a little free market economics and poverty becomes relative to where you live. The world isn't fair and without those of us in the developed world being prepared to completely change the way we live then the absolute poverty we witness in the 3rd world will continue. Unfortunately I don't think the free market economist out there will ever let that happen, but pressure will be bought to bare as the problem of economic migrants, the destabilising effects of famine and war start to bite us all on the @rse. Maybe then we'll get a little more balance, but certainly not an end to poverty.

I think that you hit the nail on the head, when you said, ''born into poverty in the 'MONEY' sense...''
Poverty is, among other things, a theoretical state of being - economically rooted. But, what is money - other than pieces of paper or coins? Who is more impoverished - the man with a million dollars, with greed as a primary compelling factor, or the single mother of one who can feed and clothe her child, but who is earning below a 'poverty' level wage?
Maybe it is time to think outside of the box on this one... Why is wealth not based on intelligence, humanitarian and scientific advance, sharing, and the like, instead of paper and coins? Is there no way for countries to get around their greed and/or isolationist tactics and actually SHARE their resources - such as food, water, and medical supplies? Is the way out of poverty more of a intellectual process rather than a financial process? Should people's priorities be changed from acquisition of a bunch of things that they don't need (i.e. a closet full of clothes for every and any occasion - even those that sit there unworn, a collection of video games that aren't played, dishes that are never used, appliances that aren't used, etc.) - to helping others? REALLY, is there not enough to go around, or is there just a crisis of greed and ignorance that makes it look like there is not enough to go around?
Is the bigger crime bringing more babies into the world or failing to use the resources, education, and collective intelligence of the world's inhabitants to better the situation for ALL of the world's inhabitants??
It is a good question, but I think that the resolution would require a HUGE shift in values and moral consciousness of a majority of the world's people.

Its a power thing. Rich countries will not give to poor in case they get on a level playing field economically. If you keep the poorest in that position you have power over them. The world is rich enough to make poverty a thing of the past. If you look around the world people die every day for lack of food and clean water. The rich nations have spare food and the technology to put it right. Rhetoric by them sounds good but none have the mental will to fulfil the basic requirement of the poor.

I'll answer part of your question:
The powers that be often use sly methods to keep them impoverished.
A year or two back, Congress passed a law making it much, much harder to declare bankruptcy. All of the banks backed it, saying that high interest rates are caused by too many people ditching their bills.
So what's the result? I have excellent credit, but I still see in my credit card notices that if I'm late on my payment just once I'll get stuck with 30%+ interest for a year or more.
As for rotting excess food sitting in warehouses, I would like to point out that just giving food away to poor people is a tried and failed idea. Far too often, the net result is that the food market in recipient country's collapses thanks to all the free grub. Faremers go broke, and they get stuck in a cycle of starvation.

For experimental purposes..world wide, or at least one country, mine preferably, people should have all they want. Everything they want, not just need.
Those who want big will have that in the same way those who want small have that.
I agree there are many children born into an area that is environmentally unfriendly to all, no water, no way of growing food, no way of living in the fashion we are used to TODAY. The human body is a bit of a wonder.

Another of the greatest evils is that there is food enough to go around. It is rotting in warehouses and grain storage bins all over America. Our government won't release it, they want our stockpile to rot instead of letting people eat. Our government actually pays farmers to let a field sit fallow for years at a time. That could feed how many more people?
