bees die, wasps are evil!

I could find no reference to any species of bee (members of the family Apidae) that does not die after stinging.

The stingers on bees are barbed, and rip off after stinging, which ultimately leads to the bee's demise. Wasps, which are related to bees (both being in the order Hymenoptera), do not have barbs on their stingers and can sting many times. The stingers of wasps are actually modified ovipositors (an ovipositor is a tube on the back of the abdomen used for laying eggs), while I think those of bees are more of a projection of the abdomen (male bees, for instance, obviously cannot have an ovipositor), which is why they rip off after stinging.

A bee dies after it leaves it's stinger. A wasp can sting you over and over again.

Bees die, but it is because they leave their stinger in, their stinger has barbs that point one way, so when they sting you they rip their abdomen apart to get away. The muscles around the singer continue to pump the poison into your skin.

Wasps have smooth stingers, so they can sting you multiple times. That sucks if a wasp flies down your shirt or yellowjackets fly up you pant legs(happened to me once, nest in ground and I happened to step on it).

the bees die because their stingers has a little hook and its attached to their stomach. so when they fly away, it rips their abdomen and they die. wasps however have straight stingers..... they sting you again and again and again...
plz don't bother bees cuz they will not sting you if you leave them alone. save an innocent bee's life

bees. their stinger has a little hook at the end that goes under the skin. when they try to fly away their back end basically gets pulled off, and they die. wasps have straight stingers and can sting repeatedly.

Bees die after stinging you as their stomach is attached to the sting and the sting is a hook, so the lot is left behind when they fly off you, so it can continue to pump cr@p in to you. Losing your stomach through your butt - quite fatal.

Wasps can sting you as many times as they like with no ill effects, and so they do so - evil, evil things!

It's bees: they have barbs on their stingers and when they sting you they pull out their guts and die when they fly away.
