There are a few things that burn your calories and that in turn leads to a tighter waist.

1. First of all, improve your eating habits. Forget about Atkins or anything. Just remember this. Eat everything, BUT dont eat to your fill. Always eat 2/3rd of how much your tummy can hold.
2. Eat 3 meals a day.
3. Drink citric juices, lime is very good for getting you in shape!
4. Do exercise daily. Key to reducing your tummy is that you lie down on your back, stretch your arms above your head and then try to get up and touch your toes. This is one exercise that really tones you up. Alternatively you can do this, lie down on your back, stretch your arms above your head and then simultaneously pull your arms and head and legs up so that only half of your back and bottom touch the ground (this is a bit harder than the first one)
5. Run a couple of miles a day, or swim for half an hour or so. This will take time but you are sure to get some positive results.

Exercise...make sure to focus on your abs so you can lose your flabby tummy. Do a lot of sit ups crunches and curl ups....make sure to do a daily walk/run for cardio exercise. Push ups pull ups and lifting weights will help your arms and squat jumps will improve your leg muscles. Hope I helped you

it is important to do tummy exercises every day. I know it sounds boring, but it works. Be consistent and be prepared to to do them on a long term basis. Also, try eating smaller amounts of food. I am not saying starve yourself. Eat regularly, but don't overfill your tummy causing it to stretch out of shape. Check fat content in the food you buy. Eat as healthily as you can. Make your healthy changes and give yourself plenty of time for the results to take effect. If you expect to see drastic changes so soon, you will be disappointed when you don't and that will make you think it's not working and that can make you give up before you see your results.

Sit ups, but in all honesty you need to do other things as well as sit ups in order to have a flat tummy.
