Schools have nothing to do with how smart you are. Its your desire and drive to to want to learn that leads to being more intelligent.

You only get into the best schools if you pass the tests, and prove yourself smarter than everyone who doesn't pass the test. So in a way, yes that does show your IQ + EQ is better than many others.

But again, the best schools were not born that way. I mean, its the faculty, the management AND the students that make a school better than the others. Some school that is not the best today might be the best tomorrow.

Bottomline, going to the best schools means being more intelligent, BUT going to not-so-good schools doesn't mean being dumb!

You are born with the intelligence you will have for the rest of your life.
The only difference a good school makes is giving you more opportunities and encouragment to explore that intelligence.
But parents can give their child this at home from a very early age, no matter what the school environment is like, and no matter how intelligent the parent is.

No not at all, it just means you are getting offered a better education, whether a pupil accepts that education determines whether they are more intelligent or not.

Basically everyone has a choice when it comes to their education, you either try hard and work at learning or you don't.

For those people who don't have the privilege of going to a good school will find it harder to enjoy their education and benefit from it but it is possible.

Besides Intelligence is a natural ability education just impropves on that.

No!

What it does mean is that your child gets the best education and makes the most of the intelligence that s/he has!

I would say yes: definately!

They would also have better management which in turn would provide better teachers and better discipline.

I was actualy home schooled. In some ways I might be a little more educated than other people when I left school but in others I am definately not as it took me years to adapt socially. I think home schooling can be done but I think could have done with a little improvement.

no. i went to a grammar school, then to the london school of economics where you needed three 'a's (at least!) to get into the law department. when you speak to some of the students, there, they're not that intelligent. book-smart doesn't mean real smart. plus, a lot of those morons got into the best schools on their daddy's money.

no, just that you can afford it better than most. intelligence is everything you have learned. or have the ability to learn. going to a better school just gives you more to learn, to become more intelligent.
