Yes, how does gay and lesbian marriage affect anyone apart from the gays and lesbians?
It shouldn't even be an issue.
It got legalised in england and no-one even noticed really.

yes they should be allowed. Let me explain it,the participants in a marriage usually seek social recognition for their relationship. Typically, marriage is the institution through which people join together their lives in emotional and economic ways through forming a household. It often confers rights and obligations with respect to raising children, holding property, sexual behavior, kinship ties, tribal membership, relationship to society, inheritance, emotional intimacy, and love. Marriage has traditionally been a prerequisite for starting a family, which usually serves as the building block of a community and society. Thus, marriage not only serves the interests of the two individuals, but also the interests of their children and the society of which they are a part and gays and lesbians can have the right to have children since having a children or being a father or mother do not only mean giving birth to a child. For that reasons, gay/lesbian marriages should be allowed.
at last but not least, marriage is an institution that is not created by God, but socities therefore people

Yes, people should be allowed to love who they want to.
We have every other freedom here, supposedly, so why not? Their marriage has no impact on me except to remove a few from the welfare rolls. Don't need to pay their health insurance if they can get it throug their spouse. It would be helpful all the way around and would only make those involved happy. The only ones left unhappy are the judgemental fundamentalists who think they need an exclusive right to love.
I am heterosexual. I just want happiness and peace.

Who cares??? I don't, not one way or the other,,,, I have bigger things in my life to worry about than who marries who,, or what marries what. Lets get real here people, deal with the crappola in your own yard and not someone elses. There is plenty more out there to worry about than this.
