Well,i am delay about 12 days now amd i am takingbirth control for about 6 months now with out a single skipof it and its always on time but untill now my period is not coming outand i am scared coz i dont want to have baby now i have two kids its hard to haveone more.What happend to my pills? why untill now i dont have my meanstration period.please help me and also its possible that it effect the other medicine that i am taking coz i am taking other medicine a side my pills but i done it before but its not that happend not i am dela.help me

Yes, you can get pregnant even if you take birth control pills. They are birth "control" -- not birth prevention. You said you are taking other medications...would one of those happen to be antibiotics? Antibiotics hinder the effectiveness of birth control pills. If you are or have taken antibiotics in the last couple of weeks / months, chances are you have become pregnant. Your doctor should've told you to use a second form of birth control if you're taking any kind of antibiotic. Don't be scared. Just grab an EPT at the drugstore. If it comes up positive, schedule an appointment with the doctor. One way or the other, it will work out.

yes you can get pregnant and there is even bigger chance if you recently took antibiotics because they can decrease the function of birth control pills.Do home pregnancy test or visit your doctor for blood test to know what's going on
