When I used to travel a lot I got a nice little set up thats small but worked pretty well. It was nice to chat with the folks back home..

yes you can you can get a cheap webcam for about £15 and a mic for about £5

Yes you can as it plugs into a USB Port. You want to get web cam with a mic in it. The price depends on the picture quality from £16-£70 (without p&p) at my last look at logitech

I've got a great laptop cam....

It has a built in mic... (through usb)

and some cool applications that let me record videos with a BLUE SCREEN effect.

It's made me quite popular with my other cam-ers!
It was less than 100 bucks with shipping
Logitech 861209 is the part number on the tag.

I really like it and I have several...(other types)... this is the best.
