Yes, on both counts.

Kofi Annan said what the US vetoed from the G8 message. From the AFP: "Kofi Annan condemned Hezbollah for triggering the latest outbreak of violence but also slammed Israel's "excessive use of force" in response."

Note excessive use of force.

Yes the world will condenm Israel and UN will drag its feet for a while bcs Bush will have it so sending condoleeza everywhere to waste time. Israel will stamp its feet and tell the UN not to come ineffect mind your own goddam business
The Arab world will not say anything at all...you will not hear a peek out of them. The Pakistanis will rise up in droves to run behind Osama as usual, with a few black disaffected west indian men and some somalis
Lebanon will be come indignant at the UN and The worlds slow respons realizing that they dont care. The young men will rise up to fight and become even more dissafected that the world did not come to their aid fast enough and so this is a sign against Muslims.
It will be one big mess all bcs Bush and Israel said no refused to listen to anyone. Hesbollah will get all the support it needs from its allies neither winning nor loosing just firing everyone up

Ok the world will not condemn them because they are the super powers whatever they say goes, no-one will help the un are just telling them off, put i find it ironic that Isreal a land of people who where persecuted because of their race should choose to do the act in an unhumanly manner, i thought they would have compassion since they know what its like to be persecuted, yet this unjustice will not go unnotice within the Arab world retribution will be harsh on Isreal sept da 11th is a mark of this all i know is that when Iran, Iraq , afganistan, lebonnan as well as syria should they join forces together Isreal, US,UK well be wiped out totally, those milita are not stupid, Israel may try to wipe the out but in truth you cannot wipe out the oppressed

I really don't think any right minded person in the world can blame Israel for their reaction. No one likes violence and we all want peace, but Hezbollah, and many of Israel's neighbour's do not believe they have a right to even exist. They will not stop terrorising Israel, until they are destroyed, so what option does Israel have, sit back and face their own destruction? There will never be any end to this until the Arab States agree to leave Israel alone, and get on with living peacefully. Which I can't see....

It unfortunate that Iran’s regime is taking a advantage of Hezbollah to attack Israel to re-direct the international attention from their Nuclear crisis. At the end is just ordinary innocent people will be killed not the leader of Islamic groups which just spread hatred in the region and world. The main way to stop violence and hatred is to help Iranian people to get rid of state terrorist that oppressed them daily.

read this and then judge:
David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister): "If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault ? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp121.

what in the world gives jews the right to steal our land and kill our people

condemnation? What good is that. Israel has received several condemnations before, and it's still doing what it has always done best, terrorize and kill.

Reality of life is as follows: Might is Right.

No. It gained't take position. China and Russia don't have any reason to get entangled. China pretty has significant monetary ties to the U. S. and different western international locations. it might want to be economically devastating for them to pass to war with the U. S.. they could under no circumstances do it because they have too a lot to loose and surely no longer some thing to attain. N. Korea might want to be thoroughly by myself. they don't seem to be very nearly as sturdy militarily as you seem to imagine they're. S. Korea has a huge and correctly equiped military. S. Korea might want to for the most section safeguard themselves and could purely position self assurance in the U. S. for help. N. Korea might want to be overwhelmed in a rely of days or weeks by using overwhelming air ability and precision bombing. N. Korea has been mouthing off for decades. it truly isn't any different. they gained't attack. Iran isn't any different. They to might want to be overwhelmed in the adventure that they do some thing stupid.

I'm a bit disturbed that the UK is considered to be one of Israel's "masters". I can understand why the US is felt to be one, because of the support/funding, etc. that goes on; but the UK?

Quite happy to be shown evidence - I just wasn't aware that we deserved that moniker ... and therefore am disturbed if we don't, yet still have it (if you see what I mean)
