The only definite facts of life are as follows:
a) You're born and
b) You die

There are too many other variations on 'Life Facts' which are dependent on socio-economic status, religion, culture etc, etc
All you need to know as a child is that there are people out there who are there to love, cherish, care for you and teach you right from wrong.

As a child you should be taught that you have the power to think about things for yourself. You have the power to think about thinking. You should also be informed about the power relations that exist in society, how there is an authority telling you what to do (Mum and Dad) and not allowing you to do what you want to do. Most relations of power reflect this early law.

I think you should be encouraged to develop your individual personality, creativty and ways of seeing the world instead of being taught that you should see the world the same way as everybody else x
