I Do not know about "insane"
BUT MANY PSYCHOLOGISTS have therapists, and this is to keep it together,
I think that some people are too hard on psychhologists, give them a break, they are dedicated to helping others, and the help they offer can reinforce similar needs of their own,,
what is really insane or sick is for some people lto think they are totally nnormal and the world is nuts,,

Quirky, touched, a little off, maybe but insane... I guess there is a possibility of for them to go insane.... but unlikely. I will say this much.. .the profession is a stressfull one and there is a high number of mental health professionals that do become depressed.. even take their own life... because dealing with other people problems especially when you don't have your own figured out can actually become a hindrance in their own lives.

Actually it's very possible. The analytically minded person tends to be an over thinker resulting in a greater tendency to have a mental disorder. And analytical types are what make up most of our psychologists.

Of course it's possible. Do you think psychologists are immune? Suggestion: Don't keep your psychologist on a pedestal...sooner or later, he/she will fall off and you might be standing underneath.

Funny but good question. Anyone can be labeled with anything, it's a possibility. If you look up what insane is, everyone is pretty much.

Most psychiatrists have some sort of disorder. They teach and council on what they know. As for actually insane... I really hope there are not too many out there, I have met one who was crazy, but only one.

well, theoretically sure, but i really hope i never meet one in person.
It would certainly be possible to go insane after learning the field of psychology.
Just because you know how the mind/brain works ( sort of) doesn't mean you can prevent your own mind from injury/disease/chemical imbalance.

certain! it is talked about as gaslighting yet i do not think the sufferer couldn't make it again to actuality besides the actuality that the trauma continues to be with the sufferer continuously. further: The anecdote may both be a confession of a wrongdoer &/or someone surely witnessing the activities.

Yes, it's possible. That's why most of them have their own counselors to talk to about things, so they don't go down the wrong path.
