not a lot you can do sweetheart. just listen to her and respond to what she is asking as best you can. Best to just do as you're told from her really.

Be Very Forgiving and a Team player!!! Remember the Pre-Natal Classes!!!! and Give her Massages her Back / Side or where it Hurts!! Ice Chips are most appreciated!!! Try to be by her side even if she tells you to "Go F%#k off" other Hateful Words!! Its Common!!! Bring a Book & Camera........It takes some time sometimes But Soon there will be the three of you & for the first time !!!! Kodac Moment! And all this worrying will pass and you'll be asking more helpful Question's on Yahoo's ask a ? Like........Help!!! Baby Crying or etc!! Good Luck & Happy Parenting to you bOTH!

It's gonna be painful whatever you do, unless you are a qualified anesthetist and can give her an epidural- but I wouldn't go for that option personally.

Do whatever she wants you to do, be there for her, don't take anything that she yells at you personally- she loves you and doesn't mean what she says. Remember that compared to the lifetime of joy you're going to get from your child, these few hours of pain won't mean anything, and bizarrely, will be forgotten just after the birth!

All you can do is have cold water handy for her to drink and a flannel with cold water in a bowl or something to dab her face with. Then just give her all the support you can. Just remember all the pain is in the contractions not the actual pushing. Good luck.

Did you follow your wife for the penatal classes ? There they would hv taught you some exercises to follow during delivery period.You can follow that.Be supportive.Show her that you are with her all the time.Gd Luck.

Convince her to get a spinal block! Even if you have to pay a few hundred dollars more for it, it is worth it. It is a local anesthetic, so it is perfectly safe for the baby.

She needs to discuss this with her doctor and get it arranged beforehand.

make sure the doc gives her the good drugs so she dont feel it and make sure it wasnt too soon cause they do wear off but if its not soon enough it wont do anygood and hold her legs those stirups just dont do the trick ..... my first wife didnt even know they had started..

Yell and scream and then if she cusses at u cuss back and if she cusses at u say "y u cuss at me" then she say "y u cuss at me" then say "this is my fault"
