Dogging or the a museum if you don't think she will enjoy dogging

Movies are out coz the whole point of a first date is to talk and get to know each other. And a movie just doesn't do that.

I'd say a nice casual dinner at a bistro or cafe that has a view - street performers, rivers, or even a seaside dinner. Then proceed for a nice cuppa or something fun/romantic like a walk by the beach, or something both of you haven't tried before. Then it’d give both of you something to remember.

Though my favourite is actually a lunch date - something different rather than a dinner date.

Don't listen to him! I mean, what's so romantic about a science lab? What if she's more intelligent in the arts or languages, rather than the sciences? Even if she is good at the sciences, what if she hates it? I mean, I'm good at science but I hate it, maybe she's like that, too. Her intelligence shouldn't really matter when it comes to choosing a location for a date, except for the fact that it shouldn't be somewhere cheap, because she'll think you're underestimating her.

Wherever you want to.
If she is intelligent then she will soon figure out if you are the right guy.
The place usually is not important but what you talk about, the connection you have between each other and the lack of bullshit on both sides are far more important.

Saying that you really have two choices, the romantic route or my preferred route, anything that could involve making each other laugh, intrigued or excited.

Good luck and keep the community informed.

I hope this helps!

Take her out for some fun. Maybe just a day at the zoo, then a nice afternoon dinner at an outdoor cafe. A little walk afterwards, hold her hand dude, chicks dig that sort of thing. Then, depending on what number date it is, take her back home, give a little kiss, and tell her that you had a fantastic time, if you don't get her hook, line and sinker, at least she can't say anything bad about you.

You could take her to a planetarium or to an art show or a book/poetry reading at a book store/coffee shop. An interesting art/cultural festival, a play or an unusual concert are all other ideas too.

She might have other interests though besides just intellectual/culturally enhancing ones, so don't discount events that don't make you think as well. Make sure that you guys can do fun things together that you enjoy too.

Lattes or dinner on first date. But intelligent girls as much as unintelligent girls like museums, zoos, historical attractions, etc. You want to really impress her? Go there first, or on-line and find out information about the place. (Keep it interesting) Then when you take her there she'll kind of have her own tour guide. Then when you take her there she will feel as if you went out of your way to make her date "special". Have fun and good luck.

A gallery, or an exhibition you know she might be interested in? A concert or a gig? But don't assume that just because she's intelligent she doesn't do typical dates, too. I'm pretty sure if she's that into you, she won't care where you go!

Good for you, being thoughtful and respectful, I hope it goes well for you both.
erm right...well something challenging and interesting is nice. Exhibitions and things are good. Art openings are also nice because you have something to look at and the pressure is off to talk all the time but if you want then there are tons of things around you to talk about.
Maybe theatre? Again you will have loads to talk about after even if you and she hated it, you can still talk about it?

All the best. IQ.

It really depends. Are you as intelligent? If so, a nice quite place where you can talk as if time is standing still...

If you're not as intelligent... then bring her somewhere a little more crowded and hope that she doesn't find out that you're an idiot.
