I have just watched some episods on itv 3 and want to find out something but first i need to know the answer to the question i have just asked.

Yeah I remember that show - it was pretty cool. It featured Scott Bakula who is now the captain of Enterprise (one of the latest Start Trek spinoffs).

Yes. A man manages to get inside the body of a different person through time travel (I believe) and he has to do something that will change their life (usually for the better). I remember it being aired on BBC 2.

quantum leap starred scott backula it was on for multiple seasons (6-8 ?) the series concerned dr sam beckett as a scientist studying time travel, he stepped into the quantum accelerator and into history as well as another body male,female,chimp) each week. very cute series gas a huge following.

Ah yes! Loved it. Dean Stockwell was in it and was absolutely great! Scott Bakula was the lead character.
For ages, it was a favourite of mine.
