allama iqbal was the first person who had the idea of a separate pakistan but it was placed in that meeting by Maulana Fazul haque

It was in the Pakistan Resolution that the demand was formally made. The resoultion was moved by Moulvi A.K. Fazlul Haq and seconded by Choudhry Khaliquz Zaman. It was during the annual session of the All India Muslim League at Manto Park (now Iqbal Park) in the city of LAHORE on the 23rd of March 1940 (the National Day of Pakistan)

The idea was first .placed by Dr . Allama Iqbal, in Elah Abad (india). It took its regular shape in Lahore (pakistan) during a summit held by All India Muslim League.
