No supermarket filling stations close by either - a 70 mile round trip to the nearest which defeats the object......

yes about same for me but tesco or sainburies is about 96p and sometimes if you spend so much in Tesco's you get 5p of each litre.
I'm in northern Ireland so sometimes if I go to Ireland I get my tank filled for about 55 euro thats £38 approx saves me loads but its a 50 minute drive to the petrol station.

99.9 pence per litre for diesel, last time I filled up a couple of days ago.
I'm in Somerset.
Filled up at Tesco.
Luckily they're doing a "spend £50 in store and get a coupon for 5p off each litre of fuel".
Yippee.
I get 47 mpg, so can't complain.

For Sri Lankans, it's $ 1.00 for a litre of petrol and $ 0.54 for a diesel litre.. Still, it is expensive as far as the exchange rate is concerned... Sri Lanka have a very low value for its rupee... $ 1.00 for a petrol litre is too much...

Between 94.9 to 99.9p in Edinburgh.
See the website below.
Believe it or not, in Malaysia a litre of petrol at one point was cheaper than a litre of milk.
