Search for the person randomly on the Internet. Type in their name in any order and follow the links.
If you're really desperate, try idetifying their last known location, post on the all forum and discussion groups there, someone is bound to have know him/her.
Limit your search by location, then move slowly up the scale, village, city, state, country, continent, planet, system, galaxy...
