For home use? Do you want am amplifier or a receiver? Crown make awesome amps but can be a little pricey. QSC offers the most bang for buck.

I personally like Yamaha and Denon home amplifiers. You might also want to check out Krell and Monster Cable amplifiers. Krell will be very expensive (3500.00). I suggest either the Yamaha AX-497 (450.00) or the Denon PMA-2000 (788.00)

If you're not worried about the cost, andyou want absolute quality, I'd go with Band & Olufsen. You don't get any better than this. Really. Check out http://www.bang-olufsen.com/web2/home.asp?section=systems
