This is absolute rubbish and someone who claims to be a zoology graduate should know better.
Many species such as horses and Przwalski horses or cattle and bison are perfectly capable of interbreeding AND producing fertile young despite having different chromosome numbers.
In the real world chromosome number make no difference whatsoever. The only factor that predicts compatibility is tiime since divergence.

those species possibly won't be able to interbreed. they're too some distance aside. often times you spot interbred map turtles one sort to a special, or a jap and southern painted turtle hybrid. i have considered a pink eared slider/ yellow bellied slider hibrid. yet your 3 are all so different that they possibly won't be able to. on the off probability offspring did take position they could possibly be mules (unable to reproduce).

Actually... some species CAN...
Ever heard of a "mule"? That's a horse and a donkey...
Did you ever know that mules can't reproduce? That's what happens when species interbreed...
And I think lions and tigers can interbreed as well.

Some species DO interbreed. Funny you should mention a liger. There IS such an animal.

practically this is impossible but there are few examples.
it is impossible to interbreed those species which are not having same chromosome number.
but still mule is a wonder because it is interbreed is with horse and donkey though their chromosome number is different.
one more example is of liger they are interbreed of tiger and lion.
this is fact. i m not joking. i m a zoology graduate.

I would be a megamutant with a lion head, robot body, gorilla arms, fish gills, and elephant feet and would rule the world with my dragon-monkey-scorpian minions by my side, we would be ruthless in our quest to control the planet under my single mutated gorilla fist...

SPECIES CAN ONLY INTERBREED IN
GENETIC LABORATORIES.
YES. IT COULD BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THE USE OF
DNA RECOMBINATION.
