Freud says that when you dream about flying, you are really dreaming about having sex. So what does it mean when you are dreaming about having sex?

Yeah, well, people like Freud said a lot of crap (as well as some relevant stuff). It's as easy as this - when you dream about flying, you are dreaming about flying, and when you dream about sex, you are dreaming about sex.

Don't count on 100% Freud says. He may not totally right.

If I told you I only dream of flying when I was very small. Does that tell you I already knew that having sex was when I was young. Not true.

When dreaming about having sex, basically you dream about closer relationship and sometimes it is just lust in your mind.

Freud had some valid points and was ahead of his time and society. However, in seeking to be radical he can sometimes go a litte over the top. If you are dreaming about flying, clearly this may or may not represent sex, it could represent a desire to overcome obstacles in life, or a desire to feel greater freedom for example.

When you dream about having sex, I think it's just your libido's (another Freudian term) way of expressing itself. Maybe you had to repress your sexual urges during waking hours and your libido is trying to express itself for example. I don't think that dreams about sex have a deeper meaning than that.

I've always been curious dreams myself. Based on what I've read, flying dreams mean that you're feeling free and in control of your life. Sex dreams suggest a measure of openness to an idea, circumstance or individual - and not necessarily the one in your dream. But it's dreams we're talking about, and they're very subject to one's own interpretation.

Freud thought all dreams were about sex. All actions were about sex. All thoughts were about sex. According to Freud everything is about sex, and half of it is about sex with your mother.

Freud was a psychopath not a psychologist.

How could everything in the world be related to sex? Because he was a perverted old man...

it all depends on the dream and the sequence of events that lead up to the sex as well as the sex itself. It could be about car insurance due, your job and then it could just be about sex.

Its depends on the dream.
