Children killing children - how can we explain this phenomenon? And how should we punish the killers?

A Flint, Michigan boy shoots his 6 year old classmate in the head and kills her. Two Littleton, Colorado boys gun down their school, killing over a dozen and injuring several others. These are a few of the many highly publicized acts of children killing children. But it happens all the time, especially in urban areas. Children, as young as elementary school aged, are shot and murdered by their peers. Kids bring guns to school.

What the hell is happening? This didn't always happen? What about society has changed that children are killing each other at these rates?

And are the killers really to blame? Are young children really capable of understanding the consequences of their actions? How should the be punished? And how can we make sure our own kids are safe at school or even hanging out with their friends before they come home?

Gun control. You don't do it, you're gonna have more killings. Stick your head out the window, America. You see thousands of gun slayings in other western countries? Why not? Because we don't encourage people to arm themselves. To put it into terms most Americans can understand, well duh.

Children are conditioned like pavlov dogs, and conditioned persons have no liberty, they will do in the situations what is trained.
Conditioning is a main proces in military education but the same proces aplies in gaming on PS2 Xbox with military and shooting games.
What happens is that small percentage of chilldren then do it in real life, but do not recognize the diference between reality and game , life and death in the game and in the reality, so they start to get points.
A 14 year old with 8 bullets kills 8 people ,6 hits in the heads , 2 in the upper body, 9 th bullet left in the pistol because a teacher ordered him to stop, game over.
Who is the guilty one , civilizations that makes mass murderes thru violence exposure in media and games.

In todays society it is a same of parental rights. When I grew up it was ok to spank your child NOT BEAT on the butt. The government has stepped in and took that away leaving parents powerless over their children why go you think we have Jerry Springer or Murry?? Sometimes a child needs tough love not time out I see the difference in other generations. I mean if a child does the crime then the punishment so follow or fit the crime. I do believe that some parents are the key. Being to young in handling them or NOT MY PROBLEM mentality. What is next 1st grade kills teacher with siccors. No just more tax payers will dish out more to have metal detectors in grade school like they r on high school. Can society or the next generation save themselves or did the ME generation do them in??

What do your criminal and civil laws provide?

In our criminal laws, while the children are exempted from criminal liability below 9 years old, and are only liable if they are 9 years old and above if they have acted with discernment, the parents are civilly liable for the actions of their children.

The parents are the shapers of their children. What have they made their children into?

Media is likewise responsible for making monsters out of these children. You see, watching a movie is actually watching a "training film" where the watcher's subconscious is trained to emulate what is being shown on the film/video. Parents should be vigilant to inform and equip their children of the effects of violence that they see and absorb.

Most ( a VERY Hight Percentage) were on some sort of drug, almost all cases Ridilin
Many were on anti depresant drugs
the Local Gun laws were never enforced.

we do not neeed more gun laws, we need to enforce them.

Anti depresant drugs are really messing up minds, just google the stats.

Post these in every school like the were before the 1960's

Until we teach THOU SHALT NOT KILL to people again expect more of this.

No one is taught respect anymore.

You can burn the flag, speak ill of the president, spit in the face of a soldier, use any cussword you please, and if anyone even says anything then the reply is that they need to butt out and mind their own business.

Untill you are taught to respect others and other things then everyone and everything will be treated with utter disrespect.

Abortion and euthenasia all plays into this too.

Once one life may be taken then all life may be taken. When one life looses its value then no one will value any life.

We're all being brain washed by T.V. It's a lot more bloody then the good old days of "Leave it to Beaver." Along with video games.....it's no wonder.

Why don't they air T.V. shows that demonstrate kids saving the environment?

Youthful offenders should be tried in court and if found guilty, must undergo rehabilitation.
