take it to a dodgy mobile shop on Totenham Court Road. They will do it for you for 5 quid.

However if it is stolen, don't unlock it but give it back to the person it was stolen from ;)

if the imei is not blocked then you can unlock it to accept a different sim card by unlocking it. instead of paying £10 try this link, follow instructions and you can do it yourself free.
