Is there historical evidence to support the view that homosexuality ruined the Roman and Greek cultures ? Is there tangible evidence that traditional marriage will fall to the same evil influence ? Is this threat so power full that a sacred union witnessed by God can succumb to such a force ? If it destroyed Rome, Greece and traditional marriage how can it be stopped ? Is this the reason Lars from Metallica cut his hair and came out against album pirating ? If this threat can ruin Rome, Greece, Heavy Metal, traditional marriage what will stop it from ruining baseball ? I'm sure those juiced sluggers were forced by a band of traveling homosexuals to shoot up. I'm sure it was some homosexual plant that corked Sammy Sosa's bat. If baseball falls the Roman Church will be next it's unblemished in all other things. I'm all tounge and cheek here in case your tempted to take me serious. I will not post this in relgion or politics so as not to intrupt the debate with some sarcasism.

Nice word cheese orce. There is some evidence in the animal kingdom supporting homosexuality. A herd of sheep in Portland. A herd of rams who ignore the ewe's and spend all their time with the rams. Ever find a stud that just won't breed ? Horse breeders have. Ever hear of the wedding cake scenerio ? Look it up I have. I suppose dogs mounting male dogs is just a little down low ? They'll snap out of it as soon as hot to trot female comes along ? Male goats praticing auto-fellatio, that's gay. Perhaps the lack of evidence could be connected to the social bias. They found 8% of male Rams prefer males. It's only science.

There is historical evidence to support this. It is a well known fact that Atilla the Hun was gay, and that most of the Vandals and Visigoths were flaming queens. This is why they brought Rome to its knees. I know this is hard to swallow. It was all Greek to me until I researched the topic. I am assuming you are using satire to attack the current administration's commitment to banning gay marriage. It is one of those hot button issues like abortion that rallies the faithful to the conservative cause. I could care less if gays have the same right to marry. It won't affect my marriage. If marriage is the wonderful institution that social conservatives claim it to be, then why not open it up to everyone? At the very least they should be allowed civil unions that would give them the same legal rights as straight couples. The biggest threat to marriage isn't gay unions, it is the social and economic forces that keep the divorce rate at around 50%. Why not talk about this? It would be better if the current administration was more concerned with national health care and providing families with living wages. The struggle to make ends meet is one of the most significant reasons why couples divorce. The Wallmartinization of America is a far bigger threat than gay marriage. You post interesting questions. Usually I just answer with "duh?" Those two points really add up.

yes, yes, yes, and...are you insane? you sounded like you had done some good reaserch until you came to that part about they gay plant corking Sosa's bat...ummm right.
yes, homosexuality caused Greece and Rome's fall. and think about it, if everyone was gay, there would be no children, and besides, homosexuality goes against every natural orce in the universe. consider this, has "science" ever found any gay animals? no that's bull****. im telling you the same thing i told the other guy: it is all how society has raised you. when they start saying it's okay to be sik disgusting and gay, then ppl will go for it just because they can get away with something that previously was considered (as well it should be) sick disgusting and perverted. see? no, most of you will never see.

What did you do in high school?
The fall of the roman and greek empires came from an empire that was too large. A new religion(Christianity) also divided the once great people. The overgrowth in fact led to the splitting of the roman and byzantine empires. the 2 empires lasted a good while, but the invasions of many people, mainly the turks, led to their downfall arount the 1400s. The Greek empire fell to the Romans, this is elementary school History.
And as for the conspiracy theopries, youre whacked if youre serious. Get some help

The ignorance of the people who feel the need to stick their nose into peoples' private sex lives amazes me. Why does anyone really want to know what the masses are doing in their individual bedrooms? And that's what this really boils down to. You hear grips about insurance care, retirement benefits, medical care, and every other government funded aide going up because of the potential of "gay" couples marrying and being allowed to share in the government funded pie.
Has no one taken into consideration that gay couples; pay taxes....or don't, work...or don't, volunteer for community projects..or don't, donate money...or don't just as much as the non gay population. So why begrudge them anything?
The only difference between two men or women marrying and living together is the mechanics of sex. Do they fight over money? Kids? Religion? Bills? Of course! Do they worry when the other is injured? Out of a job? Distant? Depressed? Of course! Sounds just like every other couple you know? Yes!
Therefor, I reiterate; prejudice against gay/lesbian couples is really prejudice against their sex lives...and why is that something you (as in the general population) need to know? And we call them perverts! *laugh*

I got it right from word one. If homosexuality is the downfall of civilization then let it come tumbling down. The point is if anyone seriously believes that's someones sexuality will bring society to it's knees they're as crackers as the theory! What is the downfall is bigotry and ignorance.

no it will not destroy traditional marriage , traditional marriage is changing by pre marital sex and live in partners, traditional mariage a woman is supposed to be a virgin, but thats over now couples are prepared to live to gether as this is not a commitment for life and any one of the two can walk out of the relationship, but many countries have changed their laws about people who commit to live to gether and the kids they sire, so traditional marriage is no longer the only concept of couples comming together, and couples living together is here to stay
