It depends if you buy into the idea that you are born into circumstances (poverty, ethnicity, etc) of your own creating or choosing; that is a pre-life of some sort. As I do, I think there is no such thing as inevitability or fate- only free will.

Too many random things happen in life for Fate not to exist.

However, I also believe in Free Will and it will ALWAYS be down to the individual on if Fate is achieved or avoided.

experience tells me that most of it is inevitable, the harder i tried to change things the tighter the circles became that led me right back to the master plan....dammit
