there are 360 degrees in a circle...
imagine a circle divided into tiny slivers....
each slice is one degree....
there are 90 degrees or tiny slices in each quarter
180 in in a half
270 in three quarters
360 in a whole circle

everybody answered but didnt explain if you know how many degrees are in a circle 360 divide it by 4 then multiply by 3 360/1 x 3/4

quarter is divided by 4.
3 quarters is three times a quarter
circle at full is 360

So, ( full circle divided by 4) times 3

Hence, 360/4 x 3 = 270
