No, I don't. I think that everybody is stupid about SOMETHING, but nobody is really stupid overall. They might be uneducated, they might be inexperienced, and they might prefer to ACT stupid, but I refuse to believe that anyone really IS. Some folks know a lot about many subjects, some people only know a lot about a few things, or even one, but chances are that what that person knows about that one thing is likely more than I'll ever know about it.

I'd imagine that if you came here and tried to rope and brand a calf, you'd be feeling pretty stupid around all the folks that do it for a living. But most of them couldn't sit down at a computer and make sense of even turning it on. So things even out, ya know?

Humans, however, are generally able to learn, so there is hope and there are many varying degrees of knowledge. The first lesson is not to lump everyone together into pre-formed categories. You're STUPID if you do.

That's a truims if I ever heard one.

Since time immemorial it's been so.

In any one and all countries and times in history.

Politicos have made hay and pork forever with it.

If elections could change anything they would be deemed illegal.

It has gotten us the system we wished for.

I say, let there be an IQ test to qualify for vote.

Well...never mind. THAT'S precisely when all voting would be forbidden on pain of capital punishment.

Don't you just LUV it ?

That's why we're (generally speaking) screwed.

I think most people are intelligent in different ways. Some are really book smart but have no common sense. Others are really good at dealing with life as it unfolds before them yet may lack a formal education. I don't think any less of either group.

I'd rather be rich than stupid.
If I ever get real rich, I hope I'm not real mean to poor people, like I am now.
